CCD leads design of first phase of ZanzibarFerry Terminal

C Concept Design is proud to be a key member of the consortium appointed to deliver the Zanzibar Ferry Terminal Development in Maruhubi, Zanzibar, led by ZF Devco. Working in close collaboration with BorghGo, C Concept Design is leading the architectural and design vision for this landmark infrastructure project, which aims to enhance Zanzibar’s maritime connectivity and logistics capacity.

The project is being delivered in phases, with Phase One currently underway, focusing on the development of a RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) logistics centre and associated infrastructure. This initial phase establishes the foundation for a modern, efficient, and future-ready ferry terminal that supports both passenger movement and freight operations. Construction is being undertaken by Songoro Marine, the appointed contractor, with a strong emphasis on functionality, durability, and integration with the surrounding marine environment.
